Pomofast is a focus timer and task board. This policy explains what information Pomofast handles on the website and in the iOS app.

Information we handle

iOS app. Tasks, board state, and preferences are stored locally on your device. You can use the app without an account. If you choose to log in or create an account, the app sends your account name, credentials, tasks, and preferences to Pomofast so they can be authenticated and synchronized across your devices. The app stores a session identifier using system-protected storage. Pomofast does not use advertising identifiers. Apple may process diagnostics according to your device and App Store settings.

Website. You may use the website anonymously or create an account. We process an account name, a password stored as a one-way hash, tasks and preferences you submit, timer activity needed to operate the service, and session identifiers stored in cookies. We may also process basic server logs such as IP address, user agent, request time, and error details for security and reliability.

How we use information

• Provide, synchronize, and maintain Pomofast features.
• Authenticate accounts and protect the service from abuse.
• Diagnose errors and improve performance and usability.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information and do not use task content for targeted advertising. Information may be handled by infrastructure providers that help operate Pomofast, or disclosed when required by law, to protect users, or in connection with a business transfer.

Retention and deletion

On iOS, deleting the app removes locally stored Pomofast data, subject to device backups controlled by you or Apple. If you logged in, deleting the app does not delete synchronized account data from Pomofast servers. You can permanently delete your account and its synchronized data from the Account screen in the iOS app. We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, backup rotation, or legal obligations.

Security and children

We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Pomofast is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your choices

You can use the iOS app without an account, log out to stop synchronization, clear website cookies, or stop using the service. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information.
